In 1999, Madhuri tied the knot with NRI doctor Shriram Nene. In 2003, Madhuri gave birth to her elder son Arin and in 2005 to Raayan. After she became a mother, she quit acting and moved permanently to Colorado.
Madhuri made a comeback to Bollywood in 2007 with Aaja Nachle. In 2008, Madhuri Dixit was awarded the Padma Shri by the President of India for her contribution to Indian cinema. As of now, Madhuri is considering signing Prakash Jha’s next film opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
