Manisha is making her debut in Bollywood film Lottery along with first Indian Idol TV show winner Abhijeet Sawant and Indian TV actress Rucha Gujarati.Manisha Kelkar is the daughter of famous Bollywood writer late Ram Kelkar, who wrote many films like Hero, Kalicharan, Vishwanath, Aap ki Kasam, Aasha, Khalnayak, Ram Lakhan & many more, about 23 silver and golden jubilee films. And her Mother Jeevankala an Actress, trained Kathak dancer & teacher. Was associated with Lata Mangeshkar group. 1 of her famous song is Hasta hua noorani chehra from film ‘Parasmani’. About 300 hindi & marathi movies are to her credit.
Manisha: I always believed in myself & my family supported me in what I wanted so there was no looking back. More over the people I came across where always ready to help. So I must say there were no stumbling blocks but there were blocks put by these for me to rise higher. Most important the respect that I get due to my DADs goodwill cant be compared.
